I have 4 computers currently connected via a 4-port Linksys and a 4-port D-Link.

I have it that way for a reason and can't change it so all are on the same router.

Anyway, each router has 2 comps on it right now, should be 2 more with in a week.
So, hers the thing.

Linksys has 2 comps with the default workgroup name MSHOME (both are XP Pro's)
the D-Link has 2 comps with the default WORKGROUP as the name (1 XP Pro, 1 Me)

The Linksys's can see each other, and the D-Links can see each other, now, even when all 4 systems have the same workgroup name, they can't be seen.

Am I making sense?

On the second router (the one not connecting directly to the modem), make sure that you turn off/disable the DHCP in its settings...

It should be working after that.

Here is the deal; you have setup 2 separate networks. These 2 networks in a way do not know about each other. The DLink router knows where the default route is but that’s about it. One of 2 things you can do. You can add a route stament in each router letting them know about each network. Or you can disable the DHCP/NAT in the DLink and set it up basally as a switch.
