2 questions for LG 27GL850 owners...

Two quick questions for LG 27GL850 owners...

1. Has anyone removed the red accents from the LG stand / back shroud? Maybe they could be removed, and sprayed? Or just some black contact / adhesive sheets applied? (I just really hate the red accents / highlights, and I just know I'd be bothered by them, whenever I catch a glance.)​

2. If you plug a Chomecast into the LG, is the picture "squished" horizontally? Or is the picture warped, squished / stretched, at all? (For example, are human faces narrower?)​
