Is it possible for me to add Windows MCE to one of my HDD's without having to partition it or reformat? The drive is acting as a removable device right now and has no OS installed on it. But it does have a pile of my games on it and I don't want to delete them. I would like to have a scenario where I can boot from WinXP to do normal stuff and still have access to my games in the same manner as without an OS installed on the 2nd HDD. And also be able to boot from the WinMCE HDD and do the same with the WinXP drive.

Would everything fall into place, or will I need a pile of new drivers?

You might need MCE-specific drivers for your video card if you have one with a TV tuner or something. For the most part, MCE just uses standard XP drivers. Certain devices have special features in MCE that require new drivers, but for the most part it will be like doing an upgrade install from XP Home to XP Pro. Most everything should work out of the box.
