So in a couple of reviews I've read of the Samsung 970 Pro., there were mentions of the label on the drive having an embedded copper strip to aid in cooling the drive. I've peeled up the entire label and do not see any metal embedded in it.

Did Samsung stop using those "cooling" labels on these drives?

Nevermind. Someone else pointed out that it's the label on the underside of the drive that has the copper.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have the copper on top of the memory chips and controller?

Does it really matter? Is your 970 Pro overheating? Mine aren’t.

I simply dont buy the sticker cooling, i just remove them (voiding warranty) and use EK or mobo heatsinks.
