Actually, that's an X1950 Pro, not an XT. I was all ready to jump on this, too.

it's still a decent price (i.e. in line with online stores) on the 1950pro, no? i'm tempted to try and price match it against Fry's or something in the morning and see if they'll do the 10% off for $180+tax. save a few bucks on shipping.

they just sell everything. they're the place doing the $300 x360 premium, and they made the pricing mistake on the A8N-SLi Deluxes for $40 and honored the price mistakes... they're also hassle-free on returns. and they print out all the MIR stuff for you at the register. :)

If all youre looking to do is put together something for your kid to get onto MySpace and do his homework, a Socket A solution is cheap, effective, and relatively easy to replace if they blow it up somehow.

They sell alot of stuff that you just cant get at other big-box retailers - Water cooling units, occasionally OEM CPUs, anti-static gear, modding supplies, replacement thumb screws, 110cfm fans, more than 3 mobos, etc.

Best Buy and Circuit City have started getting some components in stock, and CompUSA has a few, but Microcenter is clearly geared towards the enthusiast, where as CompUSA is more for the hobbiest, and BB/CC are looking for the casuals.
