Just bought a whole system to build for 186 bucks!!.....from a brick and motar store!!!

Case 17$
OCZ Gold 2gb DDR3 10666 44$
MSI 785G P45 Mobo 0$
PSU 14$
AMD Phenom II X2 555 black 99$ (will be unlocked right away)

total
$186.96!!!!

(will be building it at work on my lunch break) updates will be posted today

Looks like Microcenter's pricing (PII 555 with free motherboard, cheap case, cheap PSU, etc) ...
 
lol.. and to think last night i paid 109 for a 555 be from newegg & 125 for a new motherboard.. too bad there isnt a microcenter near by..

I wouldn't be so excited. $14 for a PSU? Probably some POS that'll end up harming the PC in the long run.

Yea I'd go buy an antec basic for 40 or 50 bucks for a low end build. Officemax generally has them in that range.

Well I do have a corsair 500watt at home but needed (wanted) a PSU just to get it all installed while at work today. Its FAST as hell running off a USB drive (4gb). God this thing is awesome! I'll post up some pics soon.
 
ive beening running CPU stress tests on this thing for the last 2 hours with only the stock cooler in the PC. No fans but the side of the case is off...cores are unlocked and running stable as all hell at 3.2ghz

CPU never goes about 40C.....wow! :D
