Looking for a switch that has 16 -24 gigabit ports.
Fiber uplinks
Manageable
Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) capable
Port Aggregation Protocol capable (cisco only??)

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Cost is no factor. Thanks!

I love it when $$ is not a factor.

PAGP is cisco proprietary.

3750G or 3560G series. Only difference between the two is the 3750 series has stackwise which when used can give 32Gbps of bandwidth between two "stacked" switches.
I've never seen a 16-port Cisco switch they 12-porter (ws-3750g-12s) which has SFP port for fiber or copper gbics.

Can do LACP and PAGP.

24-port models have 2 SFP ports.

unix, thanks for the suggestions. I'll take a look at those switches!

Thanks!

*edit, woa, i just saw you comment that PAGP is cisco proprietary. haha I'm still not awake this morning :)

The 3750G-12S has 12 fiber ports? Thats awesome! But overkill.. Just need min 2-4 SFP ports or the ability to add a GBIC transceiver.

Okay, I think I may be done researching:

Anyone else have sugestions feel free to add! Thanks![/FONT]

Well son of a!

I was just told there IS a budget now... Would have been nice to know this before I wasted my time on switches that are $4k+

I have a budget of $2,000 or less for the same features. I know Port Aggregation Protocol is a cisco proprietary networking protocol....

Basically less money, and wants the above features and vlan capable etc..

Any suggestions now? I'm currently looking at Netgears switches... Nothing in mind yet.

Thanks!
