I swapped out my 680's for my 290's that were mining for the past 4 months.
I uninstalled nvidia and rebooted to safe mode and DDU removed all nvidia (except physx). I Rebooted and installed 14.4 RC drivers with both cards plugged in. Crossfire says enabled in both the driver manager and also in GPU-Z
I run GPU-Z PCI-E bus test and it shows PCI-E 2.0 x8 for each card. xfire works with 100% usage over both.
I'm running a 2600k Sandy on an ASRock extreme 4 gen 3 (supports pci-e 3.0, however sandybridge's only do pci-e 2.0
How come in every game I try (thief, bf4, natural selection 2, etc. ) only one card is being used? GPU2 sits at low clocks and 0% usage.
am I missing something? thanks for the help.
edit: I already disabled ULPS. Also Unigine Valley benchmark, both GPus do work in crossfire.
