Should I get this for a data dumping drive? Just for things like recorded video files, data storage. Not using RAID or anything fancy, just plug in once month or so to dump new data.

so what is the catch with these? 4tb regular 110$ marked down to 19$ 6tb for 10$ with 256 cache. Are they just slow af perhaps or priced wrong

Is decent deal, you can also get the 16TB WD Gold or Red Pro for $299 (close to same $/TB)

If you wait for a bit, sometimes WD has the 18TB Red Pro for $299. I snagged 2 of them couple weeks ago at this price.
