I just finished building my system, run 3dmark06 on it and got 12000. Online 3dmark told me that i was right at the bottom of similarly speced systems. WTF?

Here are my specs:
Q6600, FSB 400, x8 = 3.2GHz
8800GTX stock
P5K Deluxe

Something wrong with my system, or something wrong with futuremark submission system?

No idea, honestly

Ive been out of hardware loop for a while... so 3dmarks are as informative to me as piniretzes to you :)

But if its a good score, why am i in the bottom list of "similarly speced" systems?

Its not a bad score... but I've hit 12k on my e6600 and single 8800 gts

both OC'd of course.

And yes, I can provide screenshots

The online thing groups SLI and single together (not sure if it groups crossfire and single as well). So thats why you will see people with 19-20k+ along with your score.

Also I think it groups all processors in the same batch, so if you are running @ stock or @4ghz you will be in the same group.

Well, I think it could be a bit higher as I get about 9900 with my sytem at stock, when overclocked to ~ 2.9 and 630/2100 I get around 11600... so it may be an idea to overclock your GPU a bit while running 3DMark06.
