12Core 63XX better than 16Core 62XX??

Are there four 6344 ES better for FAH than four 6274 retail?

You'd need to clock 6344 at ~3.3 GHz to match performance of retail 6274 (w/psmax 1).

I believe it was tear who said this but each 6300 core is around 2% faster then each 6200 core.

But with fewer cores you should be able to clock them higher without straining motherboard voltage regulation or cooling.
*Assuming AD ES can be overclocked.

3.3Ghz and higher should be very doable on a 6344. You should be able to over-clock the chips.
I don't know what power draw and heat is like.

If you are looking at the ZS268145TCG54 CPUs on fleabay then those seam pretty good value.

They seam better the retail 6274 CPUs, either way.

I am interested in these opterons 6344 ES because there are pretty " cheap ".

Is it possible to overclock them ?

Is anybody have some results of TPF ?
