11/28 8:55 ET Newegg has some 8800GTs back in stock.

Too bad none of them are any of the redesigned ones with better cooling systems.
And so the wait continues...
But I'm sure folks will grab these all up in a few hours! I'm surprised how many they appear to have... good for customers (even if the prices are still inflated).

The ones that include a game soften the (over)price if you were going to buy Quake Wars, Company of Heroes or Crysis at full retail price. :p
 
The XFX I bought on launch day was $259.99, it's now $269.99, I don't know if I'd call that gouging...:)
 
I sure wouldn't, given Nvidia apparent very limited supplies of the chips.
 
In any case ...if the 8800GT SLI vs 3870 CF really does perform well, there'll be pressure on both sides to innovate and drive prices down. Good for customer :D
 
I grabbed the evga that comes with crysis. I was going to buy the game anyway, so 250 for the card isn't bad at all. Hopefully a gx2 or d9e comes out in the next 3 months.
