1000w PSU choices for gaming w/ 3080 Ti

I'm just hoping the HX1000 is enough for the 40xx series. Especially the 4090 (or whatever the high-end models are).

Eh, unless you're running a 12900ks with a massive oc and have 50 fans and hdds and you get a 4090 and oc the shit out of it. You'll probably be fine 😜
Your psu should handle almost anything within reason.

I just picked up a EVGA 1000watt PSU
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2
One of my favorites. I'm actually still rocking an EVGA 650W P2 for my 3080Ti + i7 5820k build. No power issues. Even have the 5820k overclocked to 4.5GHz. CPU is getting pretty ancient but manages to keep up with ~95-99% GPU utilization in most games at 4k.
Not the worst thing to have overhead in PSU
I don't know if it's an issue with my 1000W but my 1000W is particularly louder than my 650W. It's the difference between not being noticeable to often being the loudest component in my PC. I would have assumed that more overhead on a PSU would mean the fan needs to be utilized less, but I guess I was wrong. I guess my point is that sometimes the beefier PSU's get louder and that's an important factor for some people.
