Twitter's Results Show Its Turnaround Moment Still Far Off

I don't know why this surprises anyone. Twitter has had one, maybe two quarters where it turned a profit. A turnaround is going to take a while (if ever).

Twitter Inc may be counting on Moments to drive growth, but the moment for celebrating a turnaround still looks far off. Anyone hoping that Chief Executive Jack Dorsey's plans to boost growth would have had a big impact on third-quarter results would have been disappointed.

Is it about profits? I think it's more about top line growth or even a growth in user base. Regardless, it's really hard to expect a turnaround when Dorsey just took over a few weeks ago and he's still gotta get through the Square IPO. That said, I think they need to work on the platform. I find it's too hard to get the info I want from my feed. If I have to go to Snowden's page to see his tweets, then why follow him?
