Federal regulators have finally watched The Matrix one too many times. Seriously though, this new digital pill could help keep up with how patients are actually taking their dosages. Of course this will take all the fun out of holding mental patients down in movies and forcing them to take their meds pushed by Big Pharma.

The hope is that the pill, produced by Proteus Digital Health, will help ensure patients stick to their prescriptions and so reduce wasteful spending on drugs that are not taken properly. It could be especially useful in mental illnesses and memory disorders such as schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s where compliance is particularly poor.
 
Given that many medications for mental health conditions do work and given that compliance is extremely poor, your comment is in really bad taste.

I wonder why compliance is particularly poor. Could it be patients don't feel well after taking them? Surely they should have a say on this matter. I am very serious.
