The coffee alarm clock reminds of Gale's coffee maker in Breaking Bad. It'd be funny if he gave a nod to it in some way.
 
Al I saw was a huge list of stupid bullshit to sell to suckers. The higher end version of the shit they sell on late night infomercials and HSN that end up collecting dust after one use.
