Pirate Bay Loses New Domain Name, Hydra Lives On

No matter what your feelings may be concerning The Pirate Bay, you will have to admit the torrent site is resilient if nothing else. Recently, The Pirate Bay lost its domain names to Sweden in a District Court decision and earlier this week, regrouped and re-emerged with six new domain names under the Hydra Bay banner. The victory was short lived though, when The Pirate/Hydra Bay lost one of its new domains, .gs, almost immediately.

Someone's not going to be happy about losing that domain name!

Whack-a-mole tactics are not going to work. I'm not even sure doing what they did to Silk road and IDing everyone involved in running it and shutting them down would work.
