If you are a Walking Dead fan, you are in for a treat from the upcoming Overkill’s The Walking Dead. The kicker here is the game is being overseen by Walking Dead’s creator, Robert Kirkman and will stay within the comic book’s storyline. Overkill and Starbreeze announced that the game is now in full production and will be released in 2016.

Developer Overkill's shooter based on The Walking Dead will be part of Starbreeze Studios' "significant presence" at E3 2015, according to a press release (PDF link) from Starbreeze.

Doesn't sound like an open world, or more of a missions based one.. Would love for it to be an open world where you can take over houses and gather supply and things, kind of like State Of Decay but better.
