The last stop of the HWBOT World Tour 2015 is approaching rapidly. With less than three weeks to, over 50% of the bench spot tickets have been solved. In this announcement we want to inform you about the competition prize structure of the ROG OC Showdown and World Series competitions. In addition to the regular World Tour activities, we partner up with ASUS, ROG, HyperX, Seasonic, and Dimastech to bring you the ROG OC Showdown Area. The area allows World Tour participants to show off their overclocking tricks and skills in a specific set of benchmarks. ASUS ROG and partners supply the participants who lack some gear the hardware on loan to compete for the prizes. In total there are 13 targets: 4x WR, 7x GFP, and 2x HFP.
The cash prize will be awarded to the overclocker who holds the World Record, Global First Place, or Hardware First Place at the end of the competition. We will communicate the exact details closer to the event. The cash prize awarded for a World Record is USD $750 and for a Global or Hardware First Place USD $250. As mentioned before, you can bring your own hardware or use one of the sets provided by ASUS ROG and partners.
