Square Enix Launches a Cloud-Powered Final Fantasy XIII

Square Enix is trying out the cloud to bring Final Fantasy XIII to the mobile platforms. If this cloud experiment works out well for Square Enix, you can bet that others will soon follow bringing more and better games to IOS and Android devices.

If you happen to live in Japan and have a connection with download speeds above 3 MB/s, you can play the game for 30 minutes for free. After that demo period, the price goes up to 2,000 yen, roughly in line with the $15.99 Square Enix charges for Final Fantasy VI on mobile.

I clicked the link hoping for the other 'Cloud' (FF7). Disappointed.

the game is japan region only.

i followed this guide and got it to download and install on my phone to try it out:
