It sounds kinda creepy when you say it like that. :D

Little surprise then that beginning next year the tech giant plans to create specific versions of its most popular products for those 12 and younger. The most likely candidates are those that are already popular with a broad age group, such as search, YouTube and Chrome.

With the massive amounts of Chromebooks being sold to schools, this move only makes sense for Google.

But yes, this is very worrying.

Are they going to deck out a free candy van and roam around the neighborhoods?

The 12ish age range has been the focus of recording companies for a new years now. Especially the tweenage girl market.

Are they going to deck out a free candy van and roam around the neighborhoods?

I know who they could hire to drive the van

Google: "Git some! Git some! Git some, yeah, yeah, yeah! Anyone who clicks, is a consumer. Anyone who doesn't click, is a well-disciplined consumer! You guys oughta do a story about me sometime!"

Reporter: Why should we do a story about you?

Google: 'Cuz I'm so fuckin' good! I done got me ads in emails, websites, tracking people, tons of mining all sold to the highest bidder. Plus millions of youtube ads, too! Them's all confirmed!

Reporter: "Do you target women and children?"

Google: "Sometimes"

Reporter: "How do you target women and children?"

Google: "Easy, you just don't lead 'em so much!"
