Lies! All lies! Everyone knows that Apple products can not be infected by malware or a virus. :D

A newly discovered family of malware has the capacity to infect iPhones via Apple computers, posing a security threat to devices that have been largely resistant to cybercriminals, researchers said.

What's more surprising is how long it took for this to be posted. As noted in the article, this is only in China using third party stores. So before everyone comes in and trolls around it's only an issue in China and only if you use some third party apps.
 
Using third party stores and pirated software. There is speculation it may be Chinese government, given that it does not steal information but instead tracks the user.

The problem is, if you read the article, someone else could take this exploit and do something far worse with it.
 
"The bigger issue here is not WireLurker itself," Zdziarski said in a blog post.

"The real issue is that the design of iOS' pairing mechanism allows for more sophisticated variants of this approach to easily be weaponized," he said.
 
This is God punishing Apple for having that most unclean sexual abomination as their CEO. Consider this the first of the 7 plagues. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

What could be far worse then being thrown in jail for political dissent?

lol the irony is losing a couple grand to identity theft is probably better than being forced to make Christmas lights for snoody Americans on a cement floor with a 15, ya only 15, watt soldering iron.
 
Even this one requires downloading warez from a shady Chinese non-official source.
