It would appear that all of the original Pirate Bay founders are now in custody. Looking at the details of the arrest, it is astounding this guy avoided capture for so long.

Pirate Bay founder Fredrik Neij has been arrested in Asia. Neij had moved to Laos to avoid the jail sentence handed down for his involvement in The Pirate Bay. But, after driving across the border from Laos into Thailand more than two dozen times, the Swede was arrested yesterday by Thai border police executing an Interpol warrant.

Seriously, flee to country without extradition (I'm assuming that's why he was in Laos) they happily cross a point between countries where people are examined with more scrutiny.
 
So "they" can find 3 "hackers", but couldn't find Osama Bin F*cken Ladden?!?!
 
Osama lived in a dirt cave having henchmen bring him his porn and food, while these hackers traveled through borders.
 
Kinda sucks for his Wife & Kids but that's how it goes I guess. Was going to happen eventually.

Well, Neij wasn't hiding. They knew where he was, they just couldn't go grab him since there was no extradition in Laos. They had to wait for him to cross a group of people willing and capable of nabbing him.

Also, he wasn't responsible for the deaths of thousands, so the priorities differ and the effort/response does as well, proportionately.

We (US gov) knew where Osama was for quite some time, well into the Bush Admin, it was better to have him under surveillance than to kill him. Many valuable targets were acquired by having Osama in one place for an extended period of time. We intercepted communiques, document and key people during his stay in Abbottabad. BO on the other had decided it was better to get Political gain from his capture, than the intelligence we were getting during Bush's 2nd term. BO basically said "I want him brought here to stand Trial", but that standing order was ignored, S.T.6 basically said "he is leaving in a body bag" and that is how it played out. Osama was not a fighter, he was the son of a Billionaire, no way he fired at the Seal team, he ran and hid and they found him and executed his ass. So BO didnt get his trophy to exploit here in the states, and some of us got justice....end of story
 
Out of curiosity, who still runs TPB? If the founders are all in jail, this has me kind of scratching my head.

Nope, Osama lived in houses, and was waited on hand and foot. The house he last moved to that they finally caught him in was considered a mansion for the area it was in.
 
Uncle to my neighbor was a 2 star or some high ranking general in the army, like 2 years after 9/11 said the military was well aware that Osama was living comfortably in Pakistan under a roof. I thought no way, and then they found him.

And the U.S. dropped over 2 million tons worth of ordinance into that country (leaving nearly 1/3 of the land unusable for farming), Nazi Germany attempted genocide on a whole group, Japan's unit 731 performed heinous experiments on people for bio warfare...comment seems a little short sighted.
 
Great. This guy, just like Kim Dotcom loves to talk tough. Lets see how well he does in prison.
