Google researchers have found another bug in SSL software that could allow hackers to take over your email and bank accounts.

Three Google Inc researchers have uncovered a security bug in widely used web encryption technology that they say could allow hackers to take over accounts for email, banking and other services in what they have dubbed a "Poodle" attack.

Goodie, as if I didn't have enough to do already. Thanks a lot Google, lol

Thankfully I disabled SSLv3 awhile ago so no worries from this admin.

Same, did that over a year ago. Pretty much all browsers support TLS 1.2 these days, and IE7+ supports at least TLS 1.0 and is enabled by default. IE8 is my minimum supported browser right now, and I will likely be dropping support for it sometime next year.

I wish XP would hurry up and die so IE 8 support could be dropped everywhere. That, or Microsoft should release at least IE 9 for XP and make it a forced upgrade. I'm tired of dealing with old shit.
