As if Google Glass owners didn't have enough to worry about, now they are at risk of becoming internet addicts. Damn you Google! Damn you!

The man had been using the technology for around 18 hours a day – removing it only to sleep and wash – and complained of feeling irritable and argumentative without the device. In the two months since he bought the device, he had also begun experiencing his dreams as if viewed through the device’s small grey window.

Obvious bullshit. Sometimes when I'm not wearing my (prescription) glasses, I still put my finger on the bridge of my nose to push them up. I cannot see as well which may make me irritable. I must be addicted to them.

I would like to point out at this time that he originally checked himself in for alcoholism. So it's possible he has some other problems? These are like the stories coming out of Colorado "Man Eats Pot Brownie and Shoots Wife" when he's an alcoholic with past mental stability issues.

If psychologist had been around when people went from caves to homes, I'm sure there would have been a diagnoses for home addiction.

Chronic porn users have carpal tunnel syndrome.
People that win the lotto and go broke in the first 5 years get diagnosed with sudden wealth syndrome.
People that sit on their asses all day get restless leg syndrome.

Shrinks would have a very boring existence if they couldn't come up with some psychological bs excuse for everything.

Maybe that first one makes a little more sense then the rest, but you see where I'm coming from right?

I had LASIK a year and a half ago and I *still* occasionally do this, or go to rub my eyes by reaching under my non-existent glasses.
