A new survey by the Pew Research Center concerning the future of a gigabit Internet environment brought some interesting insight to what the 1400 Internet experts that were interviewed were thinking. The short answer is holograms, immersive gaming and 3D pornography. I like where this is going. :D

Games, films, shopping for cars and vacations, and (of course) porn will all become immersive 3D experiences. So will the 2025 version of that primitive tool that we call Skype today.

Yep - porn usually leads on the technological front.
I'm not sure I want 4K holographic porn - do I really need to see razor burns and stubble?

3d porn?!
And my isp is pissy I use 200-400gb a month now!
Lol

I'm going to be honest..any more "definition" of any type in Porn doesn't strike me as a good thing. Sometimes there is such a thing as "too real".

1. 10K for a QB = pocket change.
2. Wore pink headphones for his grandmother for cancer awareness.

From the article:

“Why do we think that with this more powerful, greater Internet, that suddenly everyone will get it?”

I'm confused why he needs to ask this question when he just gave the answer to it.

Just as models are all heavily photoshopped today, I'm sure we will have video rendering software that can smooth out complexions and remove butt pimples and boobie scars.

That is, if they are even human to begin with, and not 3D generated porn stars created by some Japanese neckbeard... think vocaloid 2.0.

Yup. When you're actually doing the deed with another person, you are flooded with endorphins and lost in the act—you aren't paying attention to bodily details. To view sex clinically detached at high resolutions with porn camermen's proclivities for extreme close-ups . . . I'll pass, thanks.

How do they think gigabit internet is going to affect anything when they can't achieve proper holography even with native i/o. It's more of a display problem than a connection one.
