Rovio Entertainment -- After more than five years of leading Rovio and successfully turning Angry Birds into a global entertainment phenomenon, Mikael Hed will be succeeded as Chief Executive Officer by Pekka Rantala on January 1, 2015.

Stepping down - AKA retiring while not having to work another day in his life?

All I know is my 4 yr old has like 20 different Rovio games on his iPad and watches Angry Birds TV shows all day long.

The TV shows are pretty impressive production wise for an "app" company.

I have to admit, I did buy the $60 Angry Birds Star Wars for Xbox One.
