Jaguar Reveals New 'Virtual Windscreen Concept'

How can something so cool, be such a bad idea? Congratulation Jag at creating something guaranteed to kill the kids who get their dad's Jag in a couple of years.

Simply awesome and yet should of come much, much earlier

True. The dad isn't responsible over his children for not setting a password to this feature.... Jag is....

I think it's awesome! Probably going to need something like this in the future, flashing red/yellow on one side because it detects someone's head looking down at a phone instead of where they're going as they walk into the street. Pick out potholes, pick out heads in cars parked on the side with warnings of potential door opening.

Bottom line is more people on the roads there needs to be some give, either more interaction or less and the less comes in the guise of automated cars so people aren't doing the driving.

What do they plan on using to track the car? Because GPS tracking sucks when you're actually moving.

This is cool. I've been thinking about something like this for a while. They talk about tracks now but in reality they want to take it to the road. This shit - when ready - is going to save lives when human drivers are involved. With software you can do pretty much everything and TEACH the new drivers some important stuff. Make them aware to many thinks. We needed this 20 years ago but now it's actually possible even if you're not running your own 500+ million budget F1 team.
