Nintendo announced on Friday the closure of its Grossostheim, Bravaria European headquarters and moving the European Headquarters operations to Frankfurt, Germany. The move will mean the loss of 130 positions in this consolidation move.

Nintendo of Europe has entered into a consultation process on a number of changes it is intending to make to its European business which, in the long term, will better enable the European business to adapt to the rapidly changing business environment.

They need to do more than just restructure. My 8 and 6 year old son's 3DS are just collecting dust. They're losing a whole generation by not making their IP games cross platform, specifically iOS.

That headline for those news? You're not working at a click-grubby tabloid man. That's ugly.
