We told you in yesterday’s news how a five-year-old kid was able to blow past Microsoft Xbox One security. Well we all know Microsoft listens to us when we complain and corrects the flaw(s) immediately, yeah right. :D Against all odds, and probably more to save face, Microsoft has patched the hole discovered by the mini-wannabe-gamer.

"We're always listening to our customers and thank them for bringing issues to our attention," Microsoft said in a statement. "We take security seriously at Xbox and fixed the issue as soon as we learned about it."

Yeah, they (like any large company) are not in any position for any immediate fix of anything. They have to make sure the one fix doesn't break anything else.

As for the flaw, that is crazy that worked to begin with. That should have been on of the easiest parts to program in the first place without any issues.

A 5 year old upstaged an entire QA/QC division? I wonder which people are hanging their heads in shame at this one.
