Microsoft is starting off the year with their lightest Patch Tuesday in years. This month’s offering is only four security bulletins, none of which are classified as critical.

Besides the four security bulletins, Microsoft is expected to use "Patch Tuesday" to release some more software updates, including new firmware for its Surface tablets.

Yay! This is good news as I just went through and approved all of the updates on WSUS and made sure everything was up to date. Not going to be so lucky with Java though...
