Homemade Death Ray Laser Drone Bot

Neat, although I'm not terribly impressed with the whole "look at a laser pop balloons" or "set fire to easily combustible materials", and that thing must chew through batteries.

I'd think it would be neater (and more of an engineering challenge) to get it to fire tiny ball bearings or something like a machine gun.
 
hmmm, well up the ante, forget plastic balls whip out the metal balls! Slap a fat RC battery on the bottom of it to increase the power output so it can fling with some force!

Reminds me so much of the tachikomas in Ghost in the Shell, and a touch of the turrets from Portal. :D

I bet the Pentagon is just salivating over this video to be used in "local police enforcement" and "ensuring the freedoms and security of America's allies at home and abroad".
