Microsoft to Win EU OK for $7.3 Billion Nokia Deal

According to inside sources, Microsoft’s proposed takeover of Nokia’s mobile phone business will receive the blessing of the European Union Regulatory Commission as soon as December 4th.

It faces fierce competition from market leader Samsung Electronics and Apple. "The (European) Commission is expected to clear the deal without conditions," one of the people said.
