Amazon Cuts 7-Inch Kindle Fire HD to $169

Amazon has responded to the recent drop in price for the Nook HD tablet by reducing the Kindle Fire HD by 12% to $169 for the 16 GB model. If you have been shopping for a Kindle, now would be a good time to check out the Amazon’s deal.

The price drop could also indicate a new hardware release of the Kindle Fire is coming soon, possibly within the next few months.
