As previously promised by the Debian Project, Debian 7.0, code name Wheezy was released on Saturday. The stable release version has many new improved features for both 32 and 64 bit systems and numerous updated software packages.

The Debian project's key strengths are its volunteer base, its dedication to the Debian Social Contract and Free Software, and its commitment to provide the best operating system possible. Debian 7.0 is another important step in that direction.

Nice, straight Debian has always been super stable and reliable.
This is definitely a welcome addition.

I somehow lost all text on the desktop when I did a dist-upgrade. Excellent. :(

I have had so many issues with distro upgrades over the years i simply do a fresh install. You would think after all these years they would get it right.

It turns out that it's just my NX session not displaying fonts. That's a relief.
