Agawi, a California-based company, has launched a platform that will allow PC game developers to run their products on Android-based tablets without any re-coding on the part of the developer. The Agawi Cloudplay platform can stream games directly to Android devices through cloud technology.
Developers would normally have to write a lot of new code to port a game to a new platform. Relan said this means that taking games to tablets via Agawi is an ideal way to expand a business without making sacrifices. Nearly half of developers say they are still choosing to code specifically for the PC.
