Microsoft Corp. today announced that its board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.23 per share. The dividend is payable June 13, 2013 to shareholders of record on May 16, 2013. The ex-dividend date will be May 14, 2013. Founded in 1975, Microsoft (Nasdaq “MSFT”) is the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential.

If you never spend a dime of it you will break even with inflation...
 
Record profits? I guess they are doing pretty well then. :D So much for the Windows 8/ Microsoft will Die in Fire crowd, eh? :D
 
Those mountain of licensing fees they charged places like Samsung who are not livid its backfiring.

What does Microsoft Management care at the moment, they probably had sales commitments made upfront. Best thing to do is jack up the profit picture, vilify critics to the board, take your bows, and jump ship with your golden handshakes before the ship sinks.
 
Oh good, then they have the money to refine W8 to what is should really be. No excuses not to do so, now.
 
Yeah, wait until they have everyone running their crap from the cloud and paying over and over again for their subscriptions.
