The gang at Guru3D spent a little time with the NZXT Kraken X40 liquid cooler today and came away with a positive impression of the unit. If you need an all-in-one liquid cooling solution, this might be just what you are looking for.

The Kraken X40 is a 140mm radiator based LCS unit that offers pretty solid performance numbers as you are about to find out. Combined with a cooling infrastructure provided by Asetek this all-in-one and easy to install kit can even be connected towards your PC through USB, where you can monitor and regulate the LCS unit and apply presets to make the LCS unit either silent, or high performance.

Hardware Canucks just put up their review of the X40 and X60 as well.

It's a great cooler for a SB chip.

IB chips kinda overwhelm it at higher speeds / voltages.

My 3770k is priming at 75C full load @ 1.24v @ 4.6...which is kinda warm imo.

Edit: I should say that temp is on the Silent setting.
