Every year about this time, we begin to see lists of every sort recapping what kind of year we just had, most notably the successes and the failures of the tech industry. It doesn’t have to be a product per se, many concepts from the tech companies themselves were total failures. Engadget put together a small list of some of their favorite misfires of 2012.

I'm kind of surpised HP's Autonomy fiasco hasn't made the list. $8.8 billion isn't exactly pocket change...

That list was actually half decent. The LG Vu was rather disappointing.
