What does RIM have against Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore? Who knows? When it comes to RIM and strange stuff like this, the possibilities are endless. ;)

What he wasn't able to clarify, though, was why the BlackBerry blacklist enforces such a brutally disproportionate prohibition against names found on the character list of "Winnie the Pooh." Fully five of the no-can-do 106 -- tigger, rabbit, eeyore, piglet and poohbear - are plucked from the pages of the children's classic.

All of these things are just common passwords, it doesn't matter what the words actually are. They probably just compared common passwords of their current users or used a common password list that was published in a recent scholarly article that every PC security expert on earth has read.
