In what was supposed to be Google’s big day to announce its new Nexus products is being thwarted by the forces of nature. Erring on the side of caution, Google has decided to postpone the event scheduled for Monday until the danger of Hurricane Sandy has passed and safety is no longer a concern.

Travel is being curtailed by airlines and other routes, and NYC could evacuate almost 400,000 people as a precaution.

Apparently it's a pain to get reception during a tropical storm. I doubt it was for people's safety.

If this was Apple, they'd of strapped the visitors to the display to hold the display down.

Products should be annoiunced in Arizona. Nothing ever happens here.

Don't you guys get those crazy duststorms :p

If Google was a good company, it'd be able to use AdSense to suck the life out of the hurricane like it does with normal humans.
