Best Use Of Old VHS Tapes Ever

That is pretty neat, and pretty easy to construct really. Makes me think about the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

though seriously nice on the fact that it has somewhat random set up for light signing on it. there must be some wired skeleton holding it together from inside if not than it's great, but if it is not impressed.
 
Am I the first to notice that this looks a lot like a "marker" from Dead Space? Better not get to close to that thing unless you want dead girlfriends to haunt you... :p

You know, I was trying to figure out what to build on my desk at work with buckyballs... :D

And I thought the same when I saw the image, the form is way off but something about it seems familiar.
 
All I could think of was hoping I can find a Plasma Cutter once the Necromorphs show up.
 
nice! I am often put-off by some of the "artsy" stuff posted here, but yeah this looks some kinda menacing alien tower. very cool... I never played dead space but it always looked cool
 
Nah, best use was when Tom Hanks lashed a raft together in Cast Away.
 
Donate VHS to Good Will, Senior Housing, Library sales, etc.
Lots of genuine poor still use VHS.
 
Back in high school we'd use VHS tapes instead of toilet paper for pranking people. It's harder to get down off of trees and such but doesn't turn into a mess if it rains.
