Microsoft has announced the release of nine new security bulletins for July Patch Tuesday addressing issues across the board, including an unexpected update for IE9.

“Usually, Microsoft patches IE every other month, and we just got a cumulative update in June. That's why it's so surprising to see that IE9, the 'most secure' version of IE, will be patched next week.

Microsoft could do a lot worse and it'd still be easier to deal with than the awful quad-install of security doom that is Java, Flash, Shockwave, and Reader. :D

Man its gonna be busy as all get out at work the next week.

Patch Tuesdays always draw out people, and on top of that DNSChanger.

Overtime comin out my ears

What's with the quotes they put around 'most secure?'

Do they really think IE9 isn't more secure than IE8, 7, etc?

Why did they not accdurately state IE10 was the most secure and instead interjected IE9?
