Microsoft Debuts Enterprise Release Candidates

Almost lost in the flurry surrounding the availability of Windows 8 Release Preview, Microsoft also had a triple debut of a suite of enterprise release candidates for download and testing.

Visual Studio 2012 and .NET Framework 4.5 are available for download by anyone by visiting the Visual Studio 2012 website, while Windows Server 2012 is available only to TechNet and MSDN subscribers by visiting TechNet.

Windows Server 2012 RC Datacenter is pretty Windows 8-ish. The metro (yes, just like W8) apps are smaller and less critter on the screen while the background is an eye-pleasing plain dark blue. Shut down button? It took me few minutes to find it - bit difficult than W8.
