Time to mark your calendar again for Patch Tuesday. Yep, the second Tuesday of the month is coming up and Microsoft has an unusually large number of patches addressing 23 bugs.

Of the seven updates, Microsoft tagged three as "critical," the highest threat ranking in its four-step system, and the other four as "important," the next-most serious score.

When I get to work I'll check to see if they disabled automatic updates again. Don't know why or who did it.
 
Monday I received a quite alright laptop, the HD was wiped, so I installed Windows XP on it.

..speaking of large lengthy Windows Update visits.

(Do it for a laugh and find out)
 
Lovely, that means Weds is gonna be busy as all get out at work.

Deleting all posts referencing your "First Tuesday" mistake (later edited to correct)?

People make mistakes, when you do, own it, it's the only way to learn from it. Don't go way out of your way to hide it.
