The Webby Awards winners have been announced and Louis C.K. was crowned "person of the year." Other people won awards for stuff too but all we really cared about this year was Louis C.K. getting props for digitally distributing his own show for $5 with no DRM. :cool:

The Webbys, which celebrate Internet achievement, announced the winners of its 16th annual awards on Tuesday. The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which present the awards, shared the winners with The Associated Press shortly before they were to make an official announcement.

I bought it the second I heard about it which was from his Twitter feed I believe or maybe reddit. I've listened to a lot of his stuff and $5 is nothing for many laughs. Supporting an artist directly feels better as well to the consumer because you know exactly where your money is going.
