Those of you looking for a mid-range, non-reference AMD based video card should give this Gigabyte Radeon HD 7770 OC review at Legit Reviews the once over.

After spending a couple weeks using the Gigabyte Radeon HD 7770 OC 1GB GDDR5 video card (part number GV-R777OC-1GD) we found it to be a great little video card. We like that it is faster, quieter and cooler than the AMD Radeon HD 7770 reference card. The fact that it is also about half an inch shorter is also a plus. At the end of the day there is nothing we could find wrong with this card.

any word on when the next generation single slot or low profile cards will hit?

I want to upgrade my htpc, but I need at least a single slot, but prefer a low profile solution.
 
Actually, my bad, seems like there are single slot 7750s available, i missed it somehow. Hopefully low profile cards are coming down the pipe

EDIT: crap sorry for the double post, I didn't realize I could edit posts on this thread, but it seems I can't delete this one now?
