Dang, how come the Best Buy near my house never shows porn?

"Two individuals accessed our store's wireless signal to broadcast inappropriate content on a smart television display. In both cases, we worked immediately to disable the inappropriate content. We greatly apologize for this unfortunate incident and we are working to ensure that it does not happen again."

News Channel 7 in South Carolina says Best Buy is issuing an apology after the woman claimed that a sexual image she describes as being harder core than simple porn showed up on a store TV.

Lol. So if it was "normal" porn it wouldn't have been a problem, but since it was "too hardcore"...

I wonder how hardcore we're talking here?

Notice that the woman complained was so shocked and dismayed at the display that she stood there scoping it out for "several minutes before the manager came over and took it down." LOL!

That's one way to drum up business!

Best Buy now launching wireless pron service.
+2.50$ for the HD not pxielized version.

There are a lot of things Best Buy should (and won't) apologize for. This isn't necessarily one of them.

Was it on one of the 3D TV's??

True story. I was in a Bestbuy and some kid was looking through the 3d glasses then the display turns and its some korean girl group performing and the dad pushes the kid out saying hey let me take a look at this.

"I think even the word 'pornographic' doesn't cover it. I have never watched pornography, so I don't know what else you can see there, but to me, I really felt extremely violated."

Anyone else buying it? Has anyone ever met someone who hasn't seen pr0n at least ONCE in their life?

Yeah right, how do you know it is harder core then simple porn if you have "never" watched porn before?

"Despite the apology, the customers has filed a complaint with police for dissemination of pornographic material."

Seriously?

I have to go to Best Buy now to get my pRon on? Oh man...whacking at home was so convenient. :D

how the hell does she know the difference between simple and hardcore porn if she claims she has never watched porn in her life?

the original channel7 article sheds more light:

Berg was inside the store with her son and his children. She says they were looking at the store's display of 55-inch screen smart televisions when a pornographic photo of a man and woman suddenly popped up.

"They, like, brush it off like it's...who cares? Nobody cares. It's pornography. And we are getting adjusted to that kind of mentality. That's why we are losing our morals," Berg says.

Maybe she's a porn star. She said she never watched porn, she didn't say anything about performing porn. :D

They always find the "violated" person to grab the quote from. Why not interview the guys who pushed office chairs to the tv room to watch?

"You know, I'll watch it, but it's not her best work. If you want to see good porn you should watch her in "Inspect her Gadget" and "Sorest Rump. Now that's some good stuff."

Sounds like a test run for their new campaign to save Best Buy from bankruptcy.

They should have a corner of the Magnolia home theater section curtained off and playing porn on the expensive TV's. After all, if I'm about to drop a couple grand on a TV, I need to know how good the boobies look on it.

LMAO! Classic. Too bad someone wasn't standing there recording the reactions so they could put it that online.

LOL, those kids must have used imediashare for that trick - this app you can get for your smartphone.

Reading about this I just realized it's been over 2 years since the last time I stepped into a brick and mortar store. They can close all of them as far as I'm concerned.

Same. Not having to go and walk my skinny ass through a store and listen to people telling me about extended warranties and useless information that I already know about the item from researching my purchase before I buy, and usually getting it cheaper that in B&M it is winning IMO.
