Over the next few days Google will be rolling out a feature called "Search, plus Your World ." Be honest, is this something any of you are really interested in?

Search has always brought you information from across the web. Now, search gets better by including photos, posts, and more from you and your friends. When signed in with Google+, you’ll find personal results and profiles of people you know or follow. You can even expand your world by discovering people related to your search.

I think this could actually be interesting... if anyone used G+... well, at least it looks like it's well integrated into G+ and I know I use mine once a year or so just to dust it off...

You're basically trying to cross reference your friends personal content from their Google+ account with things you're searching for on the Internet. No thanks! What if you're searching for boobs and your mom's tits show up?

You're killing independent George.

Maybe I'm just an antisocial old fart (in my early twenties ;) ) , but I DESPISE how everything on the internet now HAS to be some sort of social "experience". I just want to surf the internet! I know I am not forced to participate in these things, but I think its just kind of weird how so many people are into this, and therefore, every website has a "Like" button, and companies like Google continue to cater to these masses of attention starved youths. Idk, I guess I just felt like venting :D

As what seems to be my MO lately, I haven't read the article but I've got a rant.

How about you fix you gosh darn Android app first! I've been complaining (reading that as reporting) that the landscape view automatically turns off spell checking/auto text for a long time now. This happens to two friends of mine on their phones, on my phone (a charge) on my kindle as well!

Also at least give uses the choice of having latest activity on top or posts shown by time.

Doesn't this require people to, y'know, actually be using Google Plus? I don't know if they've visited their own site lately, but there are a lot of cobwebs and crickets.

Agreed, personalized search results based on my habits could be great. However, integrated search results in one's G+ profile could be...embarrassing, such as the folks who are being tagged on facebook when they look at certain porn sites.

Landscape typing doesn't turn off spell checking on stock Android at least since 2.0. Oh, and ICS doesn't even use the special landscape view anymore.

This is just allowing search to search your social stuff as well as the web. It's not really a social "experience", just more indexed data combined with some personalization to improve quality of results (and yes, it *does* improve quality). If you don't use G+, nothing will have changed for you anyway.

I would question why your mom is sharing pics of her tits with you. I don't think it's Google's responsibility to save you from that messed up situation :p
