Speaking at the SC11 conference earlier today, NVIDIA's CEO Jen-Hsun Huang talked about a variety of topics including supercomputing, increasing energy efficiency of high-end computers and the company's new Maximus technology for workstations.

The chip maker, whose CEO Jen-Hsun Huang spoke at the SC11 conference Tuesday in Seattle, this week unveiled a new approach to supercharging the workstations used for jobs such as designing cars and creating computer-generated imagery in movies. One result will be much more realistic mock-ups for mock-ups for products and lifelike animated action and actors.

Yeah this one refers in reality to Maximus technology, think of professional SLI but instead of using 2 gpus for graphics, use 1 Quadro board for graphics, and 1 Tesla board to run the ray tracing CUDA program that nvidia is designing, and PRESTO!

You can tailor your Quadro board selection to your needs, and thus this really has an amazing future, speeding up greatly any 3d modelling job vs just running it on cpu's.

hmm... still lacks some majors issues the P180 had... AIR FLOW.

My C2D build was in that... absolutely horribly hot.
